ACCESS Donated USD12K For Medical Workers in the Front Line Fighting SARS

Beijing China?C April 29, 2003 ?C ACCESS China Inc., a global leading provider of wireless data service solution and wireless server solution, announced today that it donated USD12K (RMB 100K) to Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) to express it’s support for the medical workers who are in the front line fighting SARS, and to improve their working and health conditions.

PUMCH is one of the earliest hospitals to enter the SARS battle. It has three isolated SARS treatment wards, with more than 200 medical workers in the front line treating SARS patients and fighting the infectious disease.

“As a start-up entering it’s second year of operations in China, ACCESS has limited resources but we would still like to contribute as best we can to the society and the Chinese people. ” said Pierre Suhandinata, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Access China. “With these dedicated doctors and nurses who are placing their lives at risk to fight SARS, we are confident to win this battle.
